It encapsulates my soul like undaunted
Eternity

But, why shall we lay in darkness
While the sun captures our serenity?

We scroll down the pages of our life
Schemes

To be written in black ink rather than
The color of blood so it seems

The blood of our hearts beating as one

One as uncovered myths to gather the sum –

The equation of each other betroved as some

Some covered in shadows –
Others requited in their sun lit gallows

Oh, lay with me tonight

Lay with me under the cover of darkness
To hide from our loves only fright –
