' Dilemma '
by Thaddeus Hutyra
Dancing in the gorgeous wind ,
driving enthralling Ferrari ,
sitting in a captivating cafe ,
chatting with best friends ,
and though in a prison cell
with one only barred window .
Delighting himself all the time,
with one's town vivid beauty ,
the magnificient old houses ,
the legendary Brabo's statue ,
and though in a prison cell
with one only barred window .
Having friends since childhood ,
together in so many events ,
unforgettable birthday parties .
Good colleagues at job too ,
and though in a prison cell
with one only barred window .
Often travelling worldwide ,
seeing marvellous countries ,
talking to great local people ,
drinking happily beer with them ,
and though in a prison cell
with one only barred window .
One with fabulous diplomas ,
with a dream job, a wonder ,
a caring wife, an Aphrodite ,
children, the living angels ,
and though in a prison cell
with one only barred window .
Shadowy nights and shiny days ,
playful, filled with musical notes ,
philharmonic ones, mixed often
with trance and techno music ,
and though in a prison cell
with one only barred window .
One day when he had it enough ,
he reached with his hand
deep into his labyrinthine mind .
And like a hurricane Sandy ,
he crippled all the codes
of everything he was so far .
His thoughts and he himself
were finally free of a prison cell .
Ever since then he lived freely
he was happy and carefree
laughed a lot, enjoyed his time
and was loved by everyone
but especially by a woman he found
one he loved more and more
with every passing day and night
